My favorite thing to do is make beautiful affordable things for my daughters. I get such pleasure out of turning a few clearance fat quarters into a peasant top, or patchwork skirt! My 5 year old made up a song last week that went like this.. "Mommy makes us pretty things, Mommy makes us sweet things...." It melted my heart. that makes any stitch ripping I have to do well worth while!

One of my favorite things is crafting for other people. I get to indulge my passion for making stuff, and then also get the joy of making others happy. There is so little time in the modern world for most people to get involved in crafting that they are amazed and appreciative when they receive something so personal.

Thank you for offering this giveaway - the bags of STUFF are fabulous!

other than being first? Books are one of my favourite things. I love the way a book feels in your hands, the fresh ink on a new paper. The texture of a paper. Old leather bound copies are my favourites. The way the spine cracks on a brand new book as you read it for the first time. Thats my favourite.

Wow! Fabric ! yay

My favorite things are white twinkle lights on strings. I keep them around my windows and in my room all year-round and turn them on at night when all the rest of the lights are off. They give everything this special glow that you cant get from any other lights.

I think my new favorite thing is the great response I've gotten for my work lately. It's so wonderful to have people enjoy and want to take home your work!

A more tangible thing to be in love with is this new lightweight yarn I'm using, called Seduce by Berroco. It's my first yarn that isn't an icky Wal-mart yarn, and my first knitting project harder than a scarf. I'm so excited!

I found your blog through Craftster, and am thrilled to bookmark you!

Ooh I'm first! Awesome, I just flew in from crafster!

Right now, my favorite thing is Junior Senior, a dance-pop-hip hop-rock band from Sweden. They make me so happy. Their songs are so fun and so are their music videos. I bought both albums recently. It's rare that I like an entire album from start to finish, but these both definitely hit that mark for me. Junior and Senior are both adorable as well. Junior is a fashionable kind-of pop heartthrob who rocks the guitar and has an amazing singing voice. Senior is a gay middle aged guy but he is so awesome with beats and I love his style. The combo of these guys just blows me away. I have their songs in my head all day long! I don't think anybody can listen to their song "Move your feet" without dancing. And "Take My Time" is such a sweet song about love. "Can I get get get" makes me want to dance too, and I just have to sing along everytime! I really think everyone should check out Junior Senior because their sound just translates through all kinds of musical tastes, they cover pretty much everything.

My 'favorite thing' is my rescued pet rat, Minnen/Tulip. (I suppose he's not really a thing, but for the sake of my argument, I'll leave it be.) He was going to be fed to a snake, but he was such a sweet creature that I took him home, much to my parents' disapproval, where he has resided for close to six months. I originally named him Tulip--I have a thing for plant names-- but my mother started calling him "Minnen Ratta," or "My Rat" in Swedish. His ears are a little lopsided, on the sides of his head instead of on top, giving him the appearance of being interested in what you say, and whimsical. He has a brown "hood" and a white coat on his bottom half. He responds to my voice, loves to be scratched on this spot on his back and held.

My favorite thing...hmmmmm.
I have lots, but one of my favorite things is birthday cake scented candles, complete with real sprinkles on the top of the candle.
The smell is so yummy, and seeing the adorable sprinkles is so cute and happy. I love tieing a little bow around the canister and it's like a present everytime I get to light it. :)

One of my favorite things is that my blind dog always recognizes me (even when people I went to high school with don't!) She went blind 10 years ago, so the last time she saw me I was when I was in grade school. When she hears my voice her little tail starts wagging, regardless of what color my hair is and if I'm wearing my glasses or not. Even though I moved away, when I come back she knows it's me. This is more than I can say for most people, as I get a lot of "Ashley, is that you?" from friends who I've not seen for a while.

Well...one of my favorite things is craft supplies, often scraps! I recently moved and was able to set up a whole room for crafting, which is very exciting. I went through all my cupboards and boxes and found things I had totally forgotten about. It was so much fun to lay out all the fabrics and categorize them, same with yarns, buttons, glitter, etc. So that is one of my favorite things, definitely a reason why I need more craft supplies and ideas!
I found your blog through Now Entering Momville, BTW!

I jumped over here from your Craftster post and I must say, you rock! I mean, invitations, glittery names and dresses, is there anything you can't do?! Wow.

I'm off to post something else now... :P

Oh, and my favourite thing is my son. He is the best interactive toy ever, always makes me laugh, I can take him places I am nervous to go to alone (he is a safety blanket too!) and when I need a break he can go to Dad for a cuddle. And he makes me remember that the world doesn't reveolve around me and that I should be more generous.

He is closely followed by his Daddy and beautiful fabrics that I'm too in love with to cut up as my other favourite things.

what a fun giveaway! My favorite thing to do is create something fabulous from what other people would consider trash, the tiniest of scrappy scraps, etc... But really, as long as I'm making SOMETHING I'm happy :)

My favorite thing is my big, smelly, drooling Basset Hound Dudley. He came into our family at a time we really needed the distraction of a puppy. He is now 3 years old and is great company. He loves everyone he meets, people and dogs. He is a certified therapy dog, we take him to a camp for disabled kids and nursing homes. He is sweet and gentle and walking him every day is great for my legs!

Ooooh, it's so hard to pick a favorite. I guess it would have to be my computer. I spend literally hours a day when I'm not at work, perusing beautiful blogs and connecting with people whom I otherwise would never have the pleasure to know. It has enriched my life to no end and I can't imagine ever being without it.

My favourite thing is my desktop background! It is a picture taken by me of my family while on vacation. It is a picture that caught the very essence of their vivacious personalities. Have you ever experienced that nostalgic feeling upon finding a piece of your memory and then wishing desperately to relive those loving moments? This is exactly how I feel – I wish I were with them. But for now, there is just the desktop to remind me the love of my family. =)
PS: Thanks for holding such a wonderful giveaway =D

This is a hard one to answer since there are so many *favorite things* to choose from... Hmmm.... One of my favorite things to do is to visit the bookstore and to browse for new paperback books to read. I especially enjoy going to the magazine section of Borders Books, in search for the latest issues of inspiring home decor/crafting/fashion mags (ie. Somerset Life, Domino Mag, Bust, Nylon etc. ).
