First Bike!

I need to buy my little one a trike. It is finally getting warm here ( ok so todays high was 60 ,but that is the east coast warm) and he loves to be shlepped around on the preschool bikes, but they are for the preschool so he needs his own. I found this little radioflyer and i'm in love. Not only is it so retro chic but it has the shlepping handle, and that is perfect for my 16 month old.

I also made this "Tilt Hat" for Purim. It is hard to tell what it looks like on but its a teardrop shaped form and piled high with fun junk. I hope i can get someone to take a pic of it on me sometime soon to get the complete sugary look.

So much purim so little time...

Above the shalach manos i sent and below the after of everything we received. Now how do i get rid of all this before Pesach?





I hope everyone had a wonderful happy Purim( find out about what Purim is and what we are celebrating here). Ours was so much fun! I thought i would post some Purim pics of our shalach manos ( gifts ) we gave out and the aftermath. I had a very strange expirence this Purim..... I bought a costume yes you heard me I bought not made my little one a costume. Now i know you fellow crafters know the pain of buying a costume it just hurts, but my little guy fell in love with this costume in the store and as i was leaving it behind ( thinking how i'll make a much nicer version for him) he points with his little 16 month old finger and says"katshke" (duck in yiddish) now how could any mother resist first words. Now he says things like Mommy and Aba and Mel ( his brother) but this was the first time he said a word for something out of the home. I was so excited i bought it. Let me tell you he loves that costume.

photoshop fun

I really wish i had a camera that took awesome pictures. I see blogs like this one here where her pics of her kids are unbelievable and i drool with envy. Well i am stuck with my camera for now but i do have photoshop. I thought i would make an attempt at making my pictures look as if i have a fancy camera with lots of filters. Here is my first attempt. After and the color before.

ughhhhhh!!!

So I've had a really hard week and unfortunately a hard Shabbos. There is nothing like feeling stressed on Shabbos. I davened so hard that Hashem would relieve me of this stress but to no avail. I have to assume that this is what is to be for me right now. With that said i found this amazing tiny thing on this blog here . I couldn't believe that these little things exist and i don't have a million of them. It really perked me up. I guess stuff just makes me happy! There is also a website check it out.

Cherry fun!

My mother bought a bunch of stuff at the Gem and mineral show in Tucson, Az. ( my hometown) and decided to make earrings. I haven't seen them but I am sure they are fabulous. Anyways she asked if i could make a card to display the earrings on so here it is. I did an ink drawing and then digitally colored it. I hope she likes it. I thought it would be cute once she has them printed up to glue real tiny sea beads onto a few of the blooms.

New art

I just did this Maidel i plan to turn this into a Brocha for a little girls room. As soon as a can get a move on with my drawing i hope to have them printed and laminated. I'll let let everyone know when these little Brocha cards are out there on the market. Enjoy!
