Chol Hamoed zoo trip

We went to the Baltimore zoo this Chol Hamoed and i'm here to say that it is the weirdest zoo i've ever been to. I felt like it was more hiking very far and very few animals. So really it was a big hike that everyonce in awhile you can see an animal. The plus side to this zoo was all the fun activities. I guess to make up for the lack of animals they have lots of fun stuff to do ie... hay rides ( couldn't pay me to sit on hay), kiddy rides, petting zoo, and many other non zoo activities. Well any hoo it was a fun day but next year for sure we'll be back at the DC zoo and that one is free! Good Yom Tov to all! When i look at these pics i can't believe my big boy that is well TALLER THAN ME!

Happy Birthday our Rebbe...

Today Yud Alef Nissan is the Birthday of the beloved Lubavitcher Rebbe. In the tradition of the Rebbe i use this time to think about who i am and what more can i be doing. Yom Tov clothes ? I'm here to help

The search for decent priced Yom Tov and Shabbos clothes for myself is always a challenge. The winter is much easier for me because i can wear a lot of shorter skirts and boots, but spring and summer is a challenge. I hate my legs and will only wear long skirts in the summer and spring. Long skirts are not always in so finding them is at times hard, unless you shop in the highly overpriced frum stores. Well i am here to help this Pesach. I have been ordering clothes online and i am going to review my favorites for you and where to buy.
Lets start with this beautiful skirt i ordered from Newport News. This is a cheesy store but they do sell long skirts year round. This skirt is very long a floor sweeper at that and i love that ( hate just at the ankle skirts). It fits so well, falls on the hips and is straight and flares, but not mermaid style. Its a satiny shiny rayon ( its a little shiny but nice for yom tov) . I ordered the salmon color . I also googled coupon codes and found a 20% and free shipping. I ordered other skirts and will review when i get. Have you found a Yom Tov sore let me know and i'll post it. I also wanted to point out that this skirt is just like the Anthropologie skirt here but for A LOT less.

I have started the Pesach purge or clean, whatever you want to call it. I'm telling you there is never enough time in the day, to shop, buy new clothes for everyone, clean clean clean, and then Kasher it ALLLLLLLL! Well with all this going on i have lost my camera with lots of new pics i wanted to share, so lets hope the "Pesach binge and purge" will find it . Till then i wish everyone an "Easy Clean"!
