Finally pictures from Dovie's Upshernish (3 yr old hair cutting ceremony). I had so much fun making everything from the food to decorations. Anthro rip off

I have a love/hate relationship with Anthropologie.Their stuff is gorgeous, and so over priced. They also copy a lot of their designs from Etsy vendors. Shame on them. So in their honor here are a few of their designs i plan to copy. I'll post them when i make them, and if i'm in the mood i'll also post a how to make them with a "Anthropologie doesn't realize there is a Recession Necklace Tutorial".

Vintage Red

I think it is pretty obvious i love all things vintage. Clothing, hair, prams, decorating , you name it. So why is it that i don't wear vintage red lipstick everyday. Really people if i love the look why not flaunt it. No 1940's /1950s house wife would be seen without it, so why do i go without. In every pic of myself that i can actually stand i am wearing red lipstick . It is true red lipstick is my fashion friend. I have decided to do a 30 day pledge ,if i can wear red lipstick for 30 days then i will have won the battle and created an absolute fabulous new habit.
Here are the RL cons..
* gets on the teeth like that is its only job
*gets all over the kids as i smooch them up
*gets on my scarfs
*impossible to wear on Shabbos
* can not wear heavy eye makeup , because u will go from glamour to trash.
* should be matte to get the vintage look and matte lipstick can be drying.
Here are the pros..
*You look like a movie star 24/7

I will be doing this challenge with my favorite tube of Mac Lipstick i forgot what number but i will post later.

Ikea here we come....

We need to make an Ikea trip like yesterday. It's time to move Rozie to a crib, because she is moving all around her tiny bassinet at night. I wasn't sure how to arrange the kids, but we have made the decision to allow Dovie and Rozie to share a room for now, but to do this we need IKEA!!!! See Dovie's bed is Rozies crib the one pictured below. This means we need to buy Dovie a new bed and a bunch of other stuff. Don't you love Ikea, i do. My husband has his masters in particle board furniture due to my Ikea love!

Shop opening!!! I did it!!

Today i opened my etsy shop HOORAY!!! Ive started with a few items and soon will be adding many more. As it says in my shop i have named it "Little Rozie" in honor of my sweet Rozie. I am giving 10% of my proceeds to the Friendship Circle, because i love all they do for special needs kinder.
I also sell my bows, bracelets, and soon Judaica at local Vendor/ Mall nights. I was recently at the Bais Yaakov mall night and had the best time. Next week my stuff will be at our local Chanukah Wonderland where 10% of my proceeds benefit Our local Chabad and our Cheder!I hope to see all of you at my shop!Little Rozie shop click here

THE HAIR HAS BEEN CUT!!!

I can't believe my little guy went from hair that was over a foot long to now a little shorty doo, but i have to admit i do not miss the morning ponytail wars. We choose to donate is pony to an Israeli organization that is similar to locks of love but in Israel. If you are interested the sight is here. We also hired the most amazing photographer, if you live in the Maryland, DC, Virginia area i highly recommend her for your Simcha. She does not charge a lot and worth every penny( even the cleaning up pic is amazing). Here is her flicker to contact her. I have a few teaser pics of the Upsherin but we are still waiting for the Cd then i'll post the rest. Needless to say the party was a sucess with over 250 people and food still left over you can imagine the amount of cooking, baking, and decorating i did. I would like to say i rested when it was over, but nope i went straight to crafting for my table at the Bais Yaakov Mall Night. More about that in my next post.
