Home at last

We are home B"H!! We had a much longer hospital stay than anticipated and a few scary moments, but with Hashem's help we are home safe and sound. If we never step foot in a hospital again it will be to soon. Since the procedure Rozie is a changed girl. I really didn't realize how much her breathing problems were affecting her, but since we have been home she can not stop smiling, and her gross motor skills, wow, she shocked her physical therapist today. Thank G-d this surgery was worth it!. We love you little maidel welcome home!!!!!
Now Pesach... ahhhhhhhhhhh
Ah, yes as an extra treat we pierced Rozie's ears , do you know how long we have been waiting. I was actually shocked to see she wasn't born with earnings.

Sometimes life is just life

I have had no time to post and barely any time to breathe. Tomorrow Wednesday the 17th Rozie will be having surgery. The doctor appointments have been crazy and never ending, preparing us for the surgery. I want to make a huge request to all my friends out there. I am asking that everyone have Rozie in their prayers and thoughts tomorrow. I would also like it if everyone could give a bit of Tzedakah charity) in her name. Even a few pennies can make a difference trust must i have personally seen the power of giving charity. Rozie's full name is Nechama Roza. I'll keep you posted with good news very soon! Moshiach Now!

Purim fun!!! part 1

On Purim there are many Mitzvahs to do but one of my favorite is the Mitzvah of Mishloach Manot. This is a gift that we make for friends and family read more here. I love doing this because it gives me chance to let my creativity shine. This year was a hard one with all that has been going on with Rozie i just thought it wasn't going to happen, but persevered. Working late hours i decided to do something simple and easy, but the results were great! This is a simple project that anyone can do as a gift for a teacher, house warming, even a hostess gift. It can be done with hot chocolate like i did or even the ingredients to make cookies. Bakerella did an amazing job here.
To make a gift jar:
1. Ball canning jars ( found at local grocery very cheap about $8 for a dozen)
2. layer with yummies
3. cut square of fabric and tie on
4. Make a fun label

Rozie knows Adar

As many of you might have noticed i haven't been around the blog world the last few weeks. I wish i had good news to report but unfortunately Rozie has been sick. She has had some respiratory problems for a long time now that have worsened and we have been going to many specialists. In the process she aspirated into her lungs and got pneumonia which gave us an immediate hospital stay. In the end she is going to need to have a procedure done in the next few weeks to widen her airways, and i am sick with worry and fear. With all this said Rozie has been in high spirits. Right now we are in the Jewish month of Adar which is a time of joy for Jews and Rozie is really feeling it. She smiled at every nurse and has stayed in the best happy little mood through all the prodding, poking, long doctor visits, and much longer hospital stays.Ive decided to take a lesson from my very wise baby and approach all this with simcha ( joy) really this is all happening to her and she is showing me how to get through it. Look at these pics hours after we are home from the hospital. This is the face of a Neshama ( soul) that is really feeling Adar!
