Spring Neglect

Photobucket
I have been neglecting you an i know it. Im sorry but things have been hard, my body is breaking down lately and i can not fight this sinus infection or the many other bugs that seem to be taking over.
Photobucket
I keep telling my little immune system soldiers to fight fight fight, but they told me they need a rest right now and i'll just have to suffer until the feel good and ready to fight again.
Photobucket
I actually have an appointment this week with my oncologist and i fear the worst, i know i know i know, think good think good, but I'm worried that he'll also be a bit concerned about my resting immune system, so please keep me in mind this week Elisheva Bas Esther ( it feels so weird to put my own name out there).
Photobucket
Spring has been in the air here, we had a few warm days and some more cold ones, but spring is peaking through.
Photobucket
(this kid has decided that ties go with everything, including PJs)
Photobucket
This Sunday the weather gave a very high chance for snow but it didn't snow, Hashem knew i needed that, he knew i couldn't handle it, not this week.We still have some snow in the forecast but i know Hashem is just teasing me now.
Photobucket
When the weather is warm its like everyone snaps out of their personal "moods" and just runs ands skips through the brown grass that is desperately trying to turn green.
Photobucket
My kids need outside they need to breath the air of springtime, wintertime cold just doesn't feel good on our lungs anymore.
They need backyard swimming pools and night time walks on the beach. They need fireflies and bike rides at dusk. Really i also need those things they fill my soul and give me a that little spark that makes me feel so sparkly.

I know a lot of you are thinking springtime also means Pesach ( Passover), and i know, trust me i know that it is right around the corner, but this year as you guys know im trying to make everything a bit easier. One of the things ive decided to do is buy already certified Pesach Makeup. I'm sick of scanning the books to see if the one brand of mascara left in Target is kosher for Pesach, and usually its not, because the mascara that is, is already sold out.Im also here to make your springtime a little more enjoyable and to make your Pesach a bit easier by doing a Pesach Makeup Giveaway......
Photobucket
One of the MyShtub sponsors MikvahMinder is giving away a Shabbos lipstick set. That is also Kosher for Pesach! Hooray one step to an easier Pesach. I had no clue there was Kosher and not Kosher makeup. Why do you wear the makeup differently on the sabbath?

Sheva, I just had to say I think your shoes are the CUTEST! And I thought that was SO cute how Dovie likes to wear ties all the time- my Justin went through a phase (albeit short-lived) where he insisted on dressing to the nine for church- shirt, tie, vest, the whole deal. LOL

I will be keeping you in my prayers for good news from the oncologist as well as for stronger immune soldiers!

Please dont apologize ;) Rest as much as you can and take up on any offers for pick ups, dinners, drop offs! You will be doing yourself a favor in the long and short run :) your kids are as beautiful as ever and i do think that a little sunshine will make you feel better. So ill pray that the forecast turns around and brings upon some much needed sun on your little shtub :)

To amberlee:
Throughout the year, makeup doesn't need to be kosher in any way. But on Passover, we can't have any leavened products in anything we use, even if we aren't eating it...hence the "kosher for passover" makeup!

Love your pictures. And don't worry when I was prego last time with my issue and I had a heart exam, I send my name to a tehillim list to make sure the baby was alright. Also, Kosher l'pesach makeup sounds yummy and crunchy.

My friend Ruchi (frumdoula.blogspot.com) linked to your blog and I've been hooked. I hope you and your whole family stay healthy! Your daughter is just beautiful. My little girl had a cataract removed just before she turned three months so we have so far had pediatric ophthalmologist appointments every 3 months, one surgery to remove it and one eye exam under anesthesia because, not surprisingly, one year old babies don't like to hold still while a doctor shines lights in their eyes and tests their eye pressure! I feel you on doctors and hospitals, all you can do is find the best ones and pray.

I checked out the store, it's been a long time since I've looked there. The Berry StayClean Black Feminine Pantiliners are always cool. My sister told me about them a long time ago, I think she orders them.
